bio
lena hannigan (b. 2001, China) is a British Chinese emerging artist, working primarily in performance. Using her body as a tool alongside technology and sound, Hannigan’s practice reflects on embodied trauma, non-white bodies situated within white spaces and sound, disability, locating the self. She uses forms of endurance, both physically and emotionally, as methods to experience a return to the body.
